MEET THE TEAM: Kris Connor

A lifelong Connecticut native, Kris Connor found his lane in the trades through tile installation and bathroom remodeling. With a background in other detail-driven work—like automotive restoration—tile quickly grew from a skill into a full-time craft. That path led him to launch Tile Chief LLC, where he earned a reputation for precision, problem-solving, and consistently high-quality results across everything from everyday remodels to high-end custom installations.

With more than 15 years of experience, Kris is trusted throughout the Connecticut design and construction community for his adaptability, strong attention to detail, and ability to execute challenging designs cleanly and correctly. That same focus now defines his work with Heartwood Renovations, where fit, finish, and long-term performance matter.

Outside of work, Kris stays busy with hands-on projects—restoring dirt bikes and his bass boat—anything that rewards patience, persistence, and careful effort. It’s the same mindset he brings to every Heartwood project: do it right, and make it last.
