MEET THE TEAM: Dmitry Gribov

Originally from Ukraine and raised in Rhode Island, Dmitry Gribov has been working with his hands from a young age. He started out in tree work and landscaping before finding his footing—and his long-term passion—in carpentry and construction.

After relocating to San Francisco, Dmitry spent several years working with general contractors on complex remodels. Many of those projects required advanced seismic retrofitting, along with careful moulding and millwork to preserve the character of the city’s Victorian and Edwardian homes. That experience helped shape his approach: problem-solving first, details always, and respect for what’s already there.

In 2015, Dmitry launched his own business and built a reputation for high-quality custom builds and detailed renovations, earning repeat trust from clients on a wide range of high-end projects. In 2023, he and his wife and daughter moved to Connecticut to be closer to a quieter pace of life and a stronger sense of community—bringing with them years of experience and a deep commitment to quality workmanship.

Dmitry approaches every project with professionalism, integrity, and a sharp eye for detail—qualities that make him a valued part of the Heartwood Renovations team.
