Kris Connor

A lifelong Connecticut native, Kris found his calling in craftsmanship through tile installation and bathroom remodeling. With hands-on experience in other detail-oriented trades like automotive restoration, tile quickly grew from a skill into a full career, eventually leading him to launch his own company, Tile Chief LLC. There, he built a reputation for precision, problem-solving, and a relentless drive to deliver high-quality results on projects ranging from everyday remodels to high-end custom installations.

With over 15 years of experience, Kris has earned trust in the Connecticut design and construction community for his adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to bring challenging design ideas to life. That same drive and craftsmanship now define his work with Heartwood Renovations.

Outside of work, Kris stays active and channels his energy into personal projects like restoring his dirt bikes and bass boat—always taking on challenges that demand persistence, creativity, and focus.
