Eric Jankowski

Eric Jankowski brings years of hands-on experience and a deep passion for craftsmanship to Heartwood Renovations. A Wallingford, CT native, Eric graduated from the Carpentry Program at Wilcox Technical High School and began working in the field at just 16 years old for a major restoration company. He went on to complete his formal training through the American Builders and Contractors apprenticeship program in Connecticut, ultimately earning his license as a journeyman carpenter.

Over the years, Eric has led skilled crews on complex restoration projects throughout the state, including the historic Penfield Reef Lighthouse in Fairfield and the iconic Richard C. Lee Courthouse in New Haven. With specialized training in lead abatement and removal, he has built a strong reputation for his attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Eric has a particular love for window restoration, taking pride in bringing historic features back to life and watching each project transform from start to finish. In addition to carpentry, he is an accomplished stained glass artist, creating custom pieces and offering repair services that add a unique and timeless element to his work.

Outside of the workshop, Eric is a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and can be found cheering on his team every weekend from September through February. In his free time, he enjoys relaxing with his girlfriend, daughter, and their beloved pets.

Eric’s blend of leadership, technical skill, creative talent, and dedication to his craft makes him a valued member of the Heartwood Renovations team.
